Dear Sun Spots: I believe some of my French Catholic ancestors may have been buried in Lewiston in the early 1900s. Is there an organization, city office, or Catholic Church that would have cemetery records where I could search for their names? – Dan, Union.

Answer:
The City of Lewiston has records for some of the cemeteries and you’d have to call to find out if they have the records for the specific cemetery you are seeking. Contact the city clerk’s office at 513-3124 for more information.
