‘My Fair Lady’
Lake Region Community Theatre will bring “My Fair Lady” to Deertrees Theatre and Cultural Arts Center in Harrison on June 25-28. In this classic Cinderella story, confirmed English bachelor and phonetics expert, crotchety Professor Henry Higgins, played by Tom Watkins, above, makes a wager that he can take a Cockney flower girl out of the gutter and pass her off as a member of high society. He is determined to turn Eliza Doolittle, played by Samantha Komulainen-York, above, into a “lidy” with perfect speech and manners. Curtain time is 8 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, June 28. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for children 12 and younger.
