LEWISTON – Jeannine Lorraine (Fournier) Polley, 64, of 23 Spofford St., Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 12, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Jeannine was born in Lewiston on July 5, 1944, the daughter of Alcide and Murielle Lepage Fournier. She graduated from St. Dominic High School, and worked for more than 30 years at St. Mary’s Hospital as a CNA, and also at local shoe shops.

Jeannine loved being around her family, hosting yearly lobster feasts and barbecues. Her children and grandchildren were everything to her, and she loved to spend time with them. She was a loving, caring and devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved children, son, Patrick and wife, Jennifer Polley, of Chelsea, Cindy Palmer and fiancé, Spurgeon Cope, of Lewiston, and Jill Polley of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren, Justin, Jarrid, Givana, Javon, Sadie and Jordan Palmer, Jakeem Cope, Jakeel and Jarius Polley, and Jamon Hazzard; and two great-grandchildren, Liahna and Lamont Palmer.

Also surviving is her sister, Marie Fabrizio, of Auburn.

Jeannine was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Simonne (Fournier) Walulik; and infant grandson, George Palmer.
