AUBURN – Keith R. Brooks, 48, of Auburn, passed away on Friday, June 12, at his home.
He was born on April 13, 1961, the son of Walter and Georgette Westleigh Brooks and attended local schools.
On June 6, 1980, Keith married Lisa Thornton in Lewiston, and together they raised two daughters and four grandchildren.
Keith loved softball, fishing, camping, hunting, helping his wife on the race car and especially time spent with his grandkids.
Keith worked at the Lewiston Ramada Inn for 29 years and then at Roy I. Snow Inc. until his illness.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa, of Auburn; daughters, Jessica Hanson and her husband, Nicholas, of Livermore Falls, and Heather Brooks and her fiancé, Joe Ringuette, of Auburn; granddaughters, Indiastar and Madison of Livermore Falls; grandsons, Owen of Auburn, and Bobby of Livermore Falls; his mother, Georgette, of Lewiston; sisters, Wanda, Denise and Bonnie; brothers, David, Perry, Rick and Bruce.
Keith was predeceased by his father, Walter; two brothers, Percy and Kevin; and in-laws, Frank and Ginny Tapley.
