NORWAY – Registered nurse Joanne Moulton has passed her Certified Emergency Nurse® exam, said M. Patricia Cook, Western Maine Health vice president of clinical services.

Since receiving her nursing degree, Moulton has worked for Stephens Memorial Hospital for nearly 26 years, mostly in the emergency department and ICU; however, she also has experience as a medical/surgical nurse and a birthplace nurse. All that experience, plus several months of studying, culminated in her passing the certification exam.

Moulton is a member of the National Emergency Nurses Association. In addition to her nursing experience, she is also a core energy psychotherapist, a hypnotist and life coach.

She has lived in the Oxford Hills area most of her life, currently residing in South Paris. She has two adult children and four grandchildren.
