LEWISTON- Angeline Daigle, 85, of 102 Campus Ave., Lewiston, and formerly of 32 Fairlawn Ave., Lewiston, died Monday June 15, at d’Youville Pavilion following a long illness.

She was born in St. Agathe on April 2, 1924, the daughter of Benjamin and Leona (Bouchard) Chamberlain, and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was married to Carl Daigle in 1945. He died on Feb. 11, 1998.

She was a parishioner of Holy Family Church.

Angeline enjoyed her life at d’Youville Pavilion and especially sharing time with her roommate, Mae.

She is survived by one daughter, Joan Hesketh and her companion Gerard Lauze of Lewiston; one son, James Daigle and his wife, Doris, of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Brenda Lee Tardif of Auburn, Tracy Finnegan of Leeds, and Lina Lauze of Poland; six great-grandchildren, Andrew, Brittnie, Madison, Katlynn, Ben and Ashley; one sister, Rhoda Masselli and her husband, Nick, of Lewiston; one brother, Roger Chamberlain and his wife, Anita, of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews
