Arundel Barn Playhouse will stage ‘Godspell’
ARUNDEL — The Gospel according to St. Matthew is coming to Arundel Barn Playhouse in the rock musical sensation “Godspell.” Jesus and Judas, joined by a troupe of friends, create a musical circus filled with mime, song, dance and laughter in this show filled with joy and vitality for young and old alike.
Troupe members lead audiences on a journey to find hope for the future and something greater than oneself. They fill the Playhouse with songs like “Day by Day,” “All For The Best,” “All Good Gifts” and the rhythms of folk, rock, jazz and pop.
“Godspell” will be performed June 23 to July 11 with 8 p.m. performances Tuesday through Saturday, 2 p.m. matinees on Wednesday, one Sunday performance at 8 p.m. on June 28 and one show at 2 p.m. on July 3.
