AUBURN – Mechanics Savings Bank recently promoted Nicole Morissette to the position of assistant vice president/private banking and treasury officer. In this position she is responsible for managing commercial deposit account relationships, assisting businesses with bank treasury services and providing personal service to private banking customers.

Morissette joined Mechanics Savings Bank in 2001 as a teller, advancing to the positions of customer service representative, loan officer and training coordinator. She holds a cash management certificate from Chapman University and a degree in business administration from the University of Southern Maine. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in leadership and organizational studies.

She is a member of the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals of Lewiston-Auburn Area and serves on the Androscoggin Council for the Northern New England Center for Financial Training. She lives in Auburn with her two children.
