BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Eight Maine Army National Guard troops who served as crew members aboard a C-12F Huron aircraft are returning home after a nine-month deployment in Iraq.

The soldiers from Operational Support Airlift Command are being welcomed at a homecoming Thursday in Bangor.
