ERIE, Pa. (AP) – A man floating on an air mattress in a Lake Erie bay had to be rescued by the Coast Guard.

Police say two boaters called 911 after a fisherman told them his friend was in the water. The Coast Guard crew pulled the man from Presque Isle Bay about 60 yards from shore at about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The 49-year-old man wasn’t hurt. The Coast Guard says he told rescuers that he had been “relaxing.”

N.J. casino fined in brew-haha

The N.J. Casino Control Commission fined Resorts Atlantic City $5,000 on Wednesday for having mislabeled beer keg taps at one casino bar last year.

In March, one tap was labeled “Miller Lite” and another “Miller Genuine Draft.” But both were connected to a keg containing the light beer.

A similar situation in August occurred in which taps labeled “Coors Original” and “Coors Light” were both dispensing the full-calorie brew.
