CMCA graduates six

LEWISTON – Central Maine Christian Academy on Main Street recently held its graduation ceremony at the South Lewiston Baptist Church.

Commencement exercises were held for the school’s six seniors. They are: Stuart Lindahl, son of Robert and Kim Lindahl; Michael Nyberg Jr., son of Michael and Ann Nyberg Sr.; Roland Chabot, son of Paul and LouAnn Chabot; Amanda Fenderson, daughter of Scott and Diane Fenderson; Eugene Field, son of John and Sherry Field; and Cody Almoney, son of Belinda Almoney.

During the graduation, Pastor Dan Corff from Wayside Baptist Church presented the commencement address titles “Turning Knowledge into Wisdom.”

Students honored their senior classmates through songs and tributes that they had written. This was followed by a slide show of each of the graduates’ lives.

The diplomas were awarded by administrator Patricia St. Hilaire, board member David St. Hilaire and members of the high school staff, Tammy Paquette and Mike Nyberg.

Following the graduation ceremony, relatives and friends joined the graduates and their parents in a receiving line and reception held in their honor.
