PARIS — Celebration Barn Theater will present Lee Faulkner, Bernie Kramer, Jackie Reifer and Nancy Smither in “One Night Only!” — a night of outrageous characters, sketch and satire — on Saturday, June 27.
The four met at Celebration Barn while working with Barn founder and mime-master Tony Montanaro in the 1970s. “One Night Only!” will celebrate some classic Barn duet sketches as well as some of the artists’ new solo work.
With more than 30 years in professional theater, Faulkner is also a celebrated filmmaker and director. His solo show, “World of Wonder,” has toured worldwide.
Kramer is an accomplished mime, clown and comedian as well as an actor, storyteller and poet. He has studied with some of the world’s greatest movement artists, including Marcel Marceau and Moni Yakim.
Smithner is a performer, teacher and director. She has been teaching physical theater, acting and directing for New York University since 1986. Besides being a member of the Big Apple Clown Care Unit, she directs her own company, The Ensemble of Movement Theatre in New York City.
Reifer is a character actress, mime, and speech and language pathologist. She toured with Montanaro’s Celebration Theater Ensemble. She currently performs in the duo Reifer and Saccone with Karen Montanaroand in a new solo show “Reifer Madness.”
