DIXFIELD — Bessey Motors broke a scoreless tie with six runs on one hit in the seventh inning for a 6-0 victory over Swansey-Torrey Post.

The Bessey duo of Evan Humphrey and Matt McLellan and Swansey’s Aaron Fenstermacher were in the midst of a pitchers’ duel allowing a combined four hits through six innings. But a single, a pair of walks and a hit-batsman paved the way for Bessey’s six-run outburst.

Fenstermacher finished with a three-hitter with four strikeouts in six-plus innings. Humphrey, who didn’t allow a hit in his three innings, McLelland and Cody Hadley limited the Dixfield club to two hits.

Tyler Gates and Brody Thompson had Swansey’s hits.
