LEWISTON – Beginning Thursday, July 2, Open Mic Night will be a weekly event at Little Dan’s Barbecue. Hosted by Lindsey Montana, the open mic features a first-come/first-dibs sign-up format, with an all-inclusive, everyone-plays-at-once jam at the end.
Performers should bring their own instruments, although a bass and bass amp will be available if needed.
All genres are welcome, but the jam features relatively simple bluegrass, blues, folk and classic rock selections. Sign-up and musical introduction begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by various performances, with the jam starting around 10 p.m.
The stage is between the bar and the main serving area, making the venue suitable for all levels of participation for performers and listeners.
