RANGELEY – A certificate of in-kind donation for $2,000 was presented to David Jani, Rangeley Associates, by the Rangeley Friends of the Arts for time and materials to provide the group with a recordable plat and staked lines on the lot it recently purchased.
As RFA continues to grow and nurture the appreciation of the arts in the region, it has become apparent that there is a need for a facility that will enable the programs to expand and grow.
The organization’s desire is a “meeting house/auditorium” for programs and other community uses. The RFA’s long-term goal is to create classroom and studio spaces for learning, creating and displaying all the arts including but not limited to visual, creative, movement, instrumental, vocal and performing.
This spring a 2.7-acre site that abuts the Rangeley Lakes Regional School property was acquired. With the help of longtime supporters, the RFA hopes to make the facility a reality in the next few years.
- A certificate of in-kind donation in the amount of $2,000 was presented to David Jani, Rangeley Associates, by Heidi Sorensen, vice president of Rangeley Friends of the Arts, and Sue Downes-Borko, secretary, for his gift of time and materials to provide a plat and staked lines on the lot the RFA recently purchased.
