Kids’ ID program
AUBURN — The Missing Children Alert Program Inc., a registered 501-C-3 charity foundation with national headquarters in Maine and offices in various states, provides awareness programs for parents and children free.
A principal program is the fingerprint photo ID session, where a passport type picture is taken of the child, along with fingerprints and put on a card with all other pertinent information. The parent keeps the card and information to supply to the proper agencies and law enforcement offices in the event the child should turn up missing.
An ID session will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at K-Mart, 603 Center St.
The program exists through contributions and volunteers. For more information, call 1-800-330-2461.
