TURNER — Central Maine Children’s Theater Project will present “Guys and Dolls Jr” at 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, and again at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, in Leavitt Area High School auditorium, 21 Matthews Way.
Tickets, $5 for general admission, will be available at the door immediately prior to the performances.
Rebecca Poppke is musical director for the project. “Guys and Dolls Jr.” is directed by Steve Barter and choreographed by Lacey Moyse.
This year marks the fifth year anniversary for CMCTP, which organizes a permanent children’s choir and also runs two children’s theater camps annually, each culminating in a show. The project was established to enhance musical theater education for children entering grades 4 through 9. CMCTP is sponsored by MSAD 52 River Valley Adult and Community Education and is open to all local kids.
