AUBURN – Interstate Batteries exhausted Meineke Muffler, 16-1, in Auburn Players League softball. Derek Doucette charged Batteries with a three-hit night. Dustin Longchamps ripped a Grand slam in the fifth inning to seal the deal. Dan Smith and Rob Farrington split time on the mound for Interstate. Jeff Goss added two hits for Meineke.
