PARIS — A Newry teen was summoned on charges of imprudent speed and failure to wear a seat belt after the Ford Explorer she was driving went off High Street on Tuesday night, Paris police officer Anthony Keach said Wednesday.
The 16-year-old driver had three passengers with her, Keach said. One of the occupants was thrown out of the vehicle and taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, he said.
The names, ages and addresses of those involved were not available Wednesday night from investigator Raymond Parrs of the Paris Police Department.
