BERLIN, N.H. — Danika LeBlanc of Berlin High School has been selected as the 2009 recipient of the John and Doris Jacobs and Family Scholarship at the advanced studies program at St. Paul’s School in Concord. LeBlanc will be a student in the marine biology class.
The Jacobs Scholarship Fund was established by Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs in recognition of the value of the educational opportunity to their four daughters who all attended the advanced studies program while students at Berlin High School.
Jacobs died several years ago, and Mrs. Jacobs now resided in Norway, Maine, and through the scholarship continues to help provide a summer of academic enrichment to deserving Berlin High School students.
