E. Raymond Touchette

LEWISTON — E. Raymond Touchette, 72, of Roxbury Road, Roxbury, died Tuesday, June 23, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Roxbury, on July 5, 1936, the son of Albert and Jeannette (Desjardin) Touchette and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford, Class of 1955.
He had worked in the water plant at Boise Cascade Paper Co. in Rumford, until retirement in 1995.
He was married at St. Theresa’s Church in Mexico to the former Sylvia K. Knapp, who survives of Roxbury. Other survivors include sons, Mark E. Touchette and wife, Janet, of Roxbury and John R. Touchette and wife, Deborah, of Byron; grandchildren, BriAnna and Ian Touchette of Roxbury; sisters, Doris Stone and husband, Fred of Rumford and Louise Caron of South Paris; and a brother, Gerard Touchette of Delaware.
