TURNER — Upcoming classes for SAD 52 Adult and Community Education will include summer yoga starting Tuesday, July 14. Participants will learn new skills for relaxation and stress management with yoga, medical Qi Gong and Brain Gym Edu-K.
Children are invited to a Saturday morning class on July 25 to create a Tic-Tac-Toe game. Everything is provided for the craft.
On Wednesday, July 29, there will be a beading with memory wire class,  making a matching pair of earrings and bracelet of red wooden beads and silver.
Children will be able to create a silly sock puppet on Saturday, Aug. 8. Youngsters will make a family dragon puppet. Everything is provided.
Another arts and crafts class will be held on Monday, Aug.10. Participants will create an autumn angel dressed in fall colors and copper foil wings.
Pet first aid is an American Red Cross course being featured on Tuesday, Aug. 11. Participants will learn the immediate and temporary care given to an injured animal until it can be taken to a professional veterinarian for more definite medical care and attention.
A class on creating a matching necklace and bracelet set made with silver jump rings will take place Wednesday, Aug. 19.
There are a variety of on-going classes, including developmental life skills, English as a Second Language, and preparation for the citizenship test.

Those wishing may get their General Equivalency Development (GED) certificate with SAD 36 or SAD 52. The examination is divided into five tests: language arts-writing, social studies, science, language arts-reading and mathematics.
