I worked at the Celotex plant in Lisbon Falls for 19 years. First it was U.S. Gypsum and then Woodfiber, International Paper and then Masonite. It was a good place to work. I worked in the wood yard all my time, getting done in 2003.
I just hope if the plant gets started again, it is without some of the old management.
If the plant ever does come back, I hope the union does, too. At least the workers would have someone to fight for their rights.
