AUBURN — On June 2, the St. Dominic Regional High School class of 2013 assembled for the freshman and transfer student orientation. Approximately 200 parents, students and families attended.
The incoming students represent 18 different schools from Augusta to Falmouth and from Brunswick to Raymond.
Students were introduced to course selections, faculty, staff and coaches. Parents were introduced to technology that will allow parents to monitor the child’s progress and communicate directly with teachers. The class of 2009 imparted wisdom from their four years to the new students and an ice cream social was enjoyed at the end of the evening.
“This is another exceptional class,” said Director of Admissions Jim Boulet, class of 1981. “We want to convey both the great tradition here at St. Dom’s, while impressing upon these students that their identity and legacy will be unique.”
