LEWISTON — Women, Work and Community will offer free workshops in July.
A Budgeting Basics workshop will teach participants how to build a budget that will pay the bills with a bit left over at the end of the month. It will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, July 10, at USM Lewiston/Auburn College LearningWorks.
A five-week self-esteem training class will give participants the tools needed to challenge old destructive beliefs and nourish positive thoughts and feelings.
Classes will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays, July 6 through Aug. 3, at the Lewiston Center at USM L/A College.
Women, Work and Community will offer Staying Positive in Stressful Times from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at USM Lewiston/Auburn College LearningWorks.
It is a one-session workshop to discuss everyday strategies and tools for keeping upbeat even when times are tough.
