JAY — A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary S. Groleau was celebrated Monday at the St. Rose of Lima church in Jay with the Rev. Thomas Lequin, celebrant. “Eye Have Not Seen” was the hymn offered by the resurrection choir before Mass. “Be Not Afraid” was the gathering song, “I Have Loved You” was the Psalm, “Prayer of St. Francis” was the offeratory hymn, “Those Who See Light” was sung during communion and “Take Her Hand” was the final commendation. During the recession from church, “Precious Lord” was sung. Keith Ibarguen and Jim Groleau offered the readings and Maria Ibarguen and Bethany Groleau brought the gifts forward. Pallbearers were Frank Hughes, Josh Groleau, Ame Winter, Jay Roy, Andy Roy, Craig Ibarguen, Keith Ibarguen and John Groleau. Interment followed at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls. Mary’s family welcomed everyone in attendance for a time of fellowship and refreshment back at the St. Rose of Lima Parish Hall. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, Wilton.
