AUBURN — First Auburn Seniors will meet Wednesday, July 1, at the Hasty Community Center. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. and the regular meeting will be at 11 a.m. Tickets for $4 will be on sale for the chicken barbecue luncheon on Wednesday, July 15. There will be the monthly raffle table. Members may pay their dues for the coming year.
At the June 17 meeting, Lucy Cowles installed the following slate of officers and the board of directors for the coming year: President Angie Jipson, Vice President Nancy Roy, Chaplain Pat Donohue, Recording Secretary Ellie Rolerson, Corresponding Secretary Lucy Cowles, Treasurer Gerry Brushwein and Membership Chairman Pat Edwards. Members of the board installed were Chairwoman Pat Records, Buzz Edwards, Joan Webb, Bob Adkins, Tony Darling and Phil Cyr.
Fifty-four members attended the meeting and the attendance winners were Marge Stewart and Roger Briggs; pot of gold, Marge Stewart, Phil Cyr and Annie Demers. Birthdays were remembered.
