- Oil painter Rose Mahanor of Fryeburg will be the guest artist at Gallery 302 in Bridgton from June 27 to July 16. She holds a master’s degree in fine arts from Wayne State University and has participated in group as well as solo shows across the country. She has received numerous awards for her work. Mahanor has also taught art in private lessons as well as in the classroom at all grade levels, including college. She has painted commissioned work, including murals and portraits in Michigan, New Hampshire and Maine. More than 20 of her pieces are held in private collections all over the country. Her painting, above, is titled "Tentative Reticence."
