LIVERMORE – The Barnyard All Terrain Racetrack on Route 108 will be the site of a three-day extravaganza featuring live music, races, contests and car crushing this Fourth of July weekend.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to midnight, rain or shine.
On Friday, July 3, there will be sand drags races, deep mud races, a burn-out competition, a performance by the Fire Water Creek Band from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and fireworks at 11 p.m.
On Saturday, July 4, there will be deep mud races, mud drags races, tuff truck races, a belly flop contest, car crushing and a performance by David Stone: The Johnny Cash Experience from 8 to 11 p.m.
On Sunday, July 5, there will be mud drags races, deep mud races, car crushing and a redneck competition.
Later in the summer, on Aug. 8, the Alliance Festival featuring many bands will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Bands scheduled to play include Soundbender, Twisted Roots, Dead Season, Civil Disturbance, Prospect Hill and Keep Me Conscious.
