NORWAY — The Family Birthplace at Stephens Memorial Hospital will hold a Preparing for Birth class from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. Thursdays, July 6, 16, 23 and 30, in Harper Conference Room, Ripley Medical Building.
Hilary Ware, RN, will facilitate the course.
Expectant parents will learn about labor and delivery and relaxation techniques. Coaches will learn how to assist through the process. Other topics will include making a birthing plan, comfort measures, stages of labor, cesarean delivery and newborn care.
