LEWISTON — The Central Maine Christian Academy recently held its closing program for the school year for parents and friends.
Held at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene, the program opened with music performed by the CMCA chorus and band, followed by presentations from the high school drama team. The toddler daycare children, preschoolers, kindergartners and first- through sixth-graders presented a collection of songs. Students from the fourth through sixth grades performed a skit, “Daniel, a Man Who Listened”.
The evening concluded with the CMCA chorus and instrumental ensemble playing a variety of worship songs.
Staff members and volunteers were recognized for their contributions to the school. Included were Jessie Cossaboom, Patricia St. Hilaire, Julie Corff, Betty Anderson, Bonnie Garman, Tammy Paquette, Angelina Leach, Lori Duperry, Tammy Boutout, Michele Hall, Scott Russell, Tom Clark, Michael Nyberg, Marie Castonguay, Larry Campbell, Eric and Tina Bryant, Kim Saldana, Amanda Malo, Megan Corff, John and Sherry Field, Bob and Kim Lindahl and Denva Corff.
The school is accepting applications for its toddler daycare program and its 2009-10 school year for students in preschool, kindergarten and grades one through 12. For more information, call the school at 777-0007.
