Frances Geneva Woodard
1926 – 2009
WEST PARIS — Frances G. Woodard, 82 of Sumner, died July 6, at the Ledgeview Living Center.
She was born in Island Falls, Oct. 1, 1926, the daughter of Burns S. And Rose (Hafford) Liley and was educated in local schools. She had worked as a young girl picking potatoes in Aroostook County, later working at Decosta Egg Farms and most recently at local shoe shops. She enjoyed babysitting, beano, yard sales and reading.
She is survived by three sons, George P. McNally of Zephyrhills, Fla., Kenneth F. McNally of Dayville, Conn., and Sheldon F. McNally of Killingly, Conn.; one daughter, Sheila Cullins of Sumner; three brothers, Kenneth Lily of Smyrna Mills, Fred Lily of Sherman and George “Sidney” Lily of Turner; two sisters, Alice McManus and Addie Russell, both of Smyrna Mills; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
