The “science guy,” retired science teacher Bitsy Ionta, demonstrates how to turn a straw into a deep sounding horn as he talked about vibrations at Ludden Memorial Library Tuesday afternoon. His program is one of several taking place each week as part of the summer reading program called Be Creative @ the Library. Nearly 50 children and parents turned out for the event.
