- The Read-to-Me Committee of Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma is working in partnership with Lewiston Assembly 14, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls to provide books to newborns in the Lewiston-Auburn area. Committee members purchase the books and wrapping materials with the monies from an Educational Foundation grant from DKG International, and the Rainbow girls assemble the packages as part of their community service. Rainbow is a nonprofit organization that strives to give girls the tools, training and encouragement to let their individual spirits shine by providing members with a safe, fun and caring environment where responsible, older girls can interact with and mentor younger girls.
