AUBURN — The Lewiston Assembly, International Order of Rainbow for Girls, held installation of officers at the Auburn Masonic Hall on June 20. The event was attended by parents, family members and dignitaries from Masonic bodies from across the area. Installed as worthy advisor was Erin Cotterly of Poland Spring.

Installed as officers were: worthy advisor, Erin Cotterly; worthy associate advisor, Caitlin Walton; charity, Megan Benway; hope, Jessy Bosse; faith, Michelle Walton; chaplain, Leah Goldsberry; drill leader, Elizabeth Callahan; religion, Carline Kelley; immortality, Miranda Carroll; fidelity, Meagan Cossey; patriotism, Julia Martin; service, Samantha Moon; confidential observer, Taylor Dube; historians, Caitlin and Michelle Walton.

Serving as the installing officer was grand worthy advisor Kaitlin Toto, Windham Assembly; installing marshall, Emily Linehan, Waterville Assembly; installing chaplain, Samantha Getchell, Waterville Assembly; installing recorder, Stephanie Getchell, Waterville Assembly; and installing musician, Debbie Greim.

Cotterly outlined her plan for activities for the next six months. During the summer, the assembly will visit Funtown, attend a movie night, have a pool party and attend a camping weekend. In the fall, the assembly will work on charity work to benefit the Maine Children’s Cancer Program as well as visit with the elderly during the holidays. Also over the next six months, the group will work on their merit bars in several areas including Masonic and Charitable Service.

The International Order of Rainbow for Girls is a nonprofit organization that strives to give girls the tools, training and encouragement to let their individual spirits shine by providing members with a safe, fun, caring environment where responsible, older girls can interact and mentor younger girls through family involvement.
