Ujkaj
BOSTON — The wedding of Tara Langelier and Ilir Ujkaj was held at 1 p.m. on March 28 at the Cambridge Boat House in Boston. Don Davidoff officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Ujkaj is the daughter of Raymond and Patricia Langelier of Turner.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white beaded ball gown with train and carried a bouquet of white and purple Calla lilies. The flowers were arranged by the bride and her sister, Katheryn. The boat house was decorated with white roses and willow branches.
A reception followed at Ida’s Restaurant in the north end of Boston. A larger reception will be held Aug. 8 at the home of the parents of the bride in Turner. The couple is residing in Newtonville, Mass.
The bride received a degree in communications from New England College and a professional certificate in digital film making from CDIA at Boston University. She is a freelance camera operator and photographer.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in literature and linguistics at the University of Albania. He is currently a student at National Aviation Academy of New England and plans to graduate in July. He is employed at NexAir Avionic.
