CANTON  — The Old Canton School House will host an art show and yard sale on Saturday, July 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The art show and art sale will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Tours of the school will be ongoing throughout the day.

The Old Canton School House is a local nonprofit organization that provides a community meeting place, hosting an art gallery, museum and library.

Saturday’s events will feature a performance artist who provide music and stories and other presentations, according to organizer Carolyn Matott.

Afternoon and evening events include a spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

A raffle with three prizes including a Swedish-weave blanket, two framed nature photographs by Oakie Jones and a $30 certificate for JC Penney will also be available.
