Allan D. Carlson

1928 – 2009

SCARBOROUGH – Allan D. Carlson, 81, of Kennebunk and formerly of Sanford, passed away on Saturday, July 18, at the Gosnell Memorial House in Scarborough.

He was born in Boston, Mass., on March 5, 1928, a son of Frank and Janet (Paterson) Carlson.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Springvale Masonic Lodge 190 AF & AM and past president of the Fraternal Lodge in Alfred.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Cummings) Carlson of Kennebunk; one daughter, Janice Cole and her husband, William, of Franconia Notch, N.H.; two sons, Stuart Carlson and his wife, Carol Cushing, of Roseburg, Ore.; and Kenneth Carlson of Littleton, Mass.
