FARMINGTON — Mt. Blue Community Access Television will open its doors from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday for an open house and free barbecue. The entrance to the station is on Academy Street.

Tours of the station will be given to make people aware of the work the station does in the community and the space it uses in Merrill Hall on the University of Maine at Farmington campus, said station coordinator Donna Courchesney.

Following a good response last year, the station chose to participate in the Strawberry Festival again this year.
