BERLIN, N.H. — The wedding of Amy Michelle Lavertue and Dustin Eric Ray was held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 9 at St. Anne’s Church in Berlin, N.H. The Rev. Jeffrey Statz officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Ray is the daughter of Michael and Lise Lavertue of Berlin, N.H. Mr. Ray is the son of Scott and Sharon Ray of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless satin gown with a bodice embellished with hand pattern beading and a pick up skirt extending into a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of pink and orange roses and Gerber daisies.

Serena Leeman was matron of honor and Jessica Coleman was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Janice Douglas and Susanne Lanctot, all friends of the bride. Alexia Brochu, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

James Ray, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were James Lavertue, brother of the bride and Jared Marston and Zach Beaulieu, both friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the White Mountain Chalet in Berlin, N.H., after which the couple honeymooned in St. Lucia. They are residing in Turner.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Berlin High School and a 2006 graduate of St. Joseph’s College and Mercy School of Radiologic Technology with a bachelor’s degree in radiologic science. She is employed as a registered MRI technologist with King’s Medical Group at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Kaplan University with an associate degree in business management and administration. He is employed as a sales representative at Verizon Wireless.
