Sara Joan Powers, ’11 of Auburn, has been awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Summer Fellowship at Bowdoin College.
The fellowships provide funding for interdisciplinary undergraduate research, particularly in biochemistry and neuroscience, and for student research in marine biology and other biological field studies conducted at Bowdoin’s Coast Studies Center on Orrs Island.
