Loretta (Landry) Potiez, 89, of South Windsor, Conn., passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Born in Lewiston on Oct. 23, 1919, daughter of the late Philippe and Virginai (Bolduc) Landry, she was raised in Maine and had lived in South Windsor, Conn., since 1961. A veteran of World War II, Loretta served in the Women’s Army Corps.
She leaves a son, Daniel A. Potiez and his wife, Jane, of South Windsor, Conn.; two daughters, Rachel and Cosette Potiez, both of Manchester, Conn.; two grandchildren, Julie Potiez and Michael Potiez, both of South Windsor, Conn.; and a great-granddaughter, Cameron Reyes of South Windsor, Conn.
She was predeceased by her first and second husbands, Andre Potiez and Harold Hanson; a brother, Tony Landry; a sister, Patricia Flook; and two granddaughters, Nicole and Jennifer Potiez.
