FARMINGTON — Franklin County commissioners voted Tuesday to hire dispatcher Megan Mims Gaboury as the new assistant dispatch supervisor.
Gaboury started out as a corrections officer in 2000 and transferred to dispatch in 2006, Sheriff Dennis Pike said.
She will be paid $15.06 an hour, her current rate of pay, until contract negotiations are done. The position was created this year to address state requirements, Pike said.
