“Waypoint,” a sculpture by Belfast artist James Strickland, is the newest addition to USM’s Lewiston-Auburn College campus. It was commissioned under the Percent for Art Act, administered by the Maine Arts Commission. Assisting in the installation are, from left, Bob Hill, Abraham Bagley and Kyle Cox. The sculpture is by the entrance of the new USM LAC addition, which houses state-of-the-art learning spaces, the college’s writing center, a Senior College office, and LearningWorks, home of College for ME-Androscoggin.
