Normand H. Voisine
1927 – 2009
LEWISTON — Normand H. Voisine, 81, formerly of 62 King Ave., died Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Montello Manor, returning to his loving wife Rena, who passed away a year ago.
He was born in Frenchville, Aug. 21, 1927, the son the late Honore and Euphemie Gagnon Voisine. He was married in 1954 to Rena L. Fraser, who predeceased him July 17, 2008.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the local textile industry.
He was an active member of the basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, where he was an usher and acolyte for many years. He was a member of St. Peter’s Society and enjoyed arts and crafts, ceramics and flowers.
He is survived by three sisters, Annette Corriveau and husband, Patrick, of Caribou, Priscilla Roy of New Britain, Conn., and Bernice Vaillancourt of Bingham; a brother, Willard Voisine of Tipps City, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by nine sisters and brothers.
