CHERRY HILL, N.J. (AP) – Authorities say an executive at TD Bank N.A. has died of head injuries after falling out of a golf cart.
Forty-four-year-old Frank Papotto Jr. was playing Friday at a fundraiser at Rancocas Country Club in Willingboro.
The Burlington County Medical Examiner’s office says the Moorestown man fell out of a golf cart in which he was a passenger.
Papotto was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden and died there.
The death was ruled accidental.
Papotto started working for Commerce Bank as a teenager and rose to senior vice president in charge of the company’s call center operations in Mount Laurel.
The bank became TD Bank last year after a sale. Its headquarters are in Cherry Hill and Portland, Me.
