MEXICO — The following incidents were
recently handled by the Mexico Police Department.
Arrests
• Bobby Trotter, 50, River Road, Mexico,
felony operating after license revocation, 11:02 a.m. Aug. 8 on
Main Street. He was released from the Mexico Police Department of
$200 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior
Court on Dec. 17.
• William Greaton, 37, Maine Avenue,
Rumford, domestic assault, at 4:39 p.m. Aug. 4 at Osgood Avenue. He
was released from the Mexico Police Department on $600 unsecured
bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.
Accident
• Adam Dupuis, 18, of Andover Road,
Rumford, struck a deer as he was driving a 2001 Pontiac
east along Route 2 near Naples Packing Co. The deer was killed. The
vehicle sustained $1,100 damage.
Vandalism
• A Coburn Avenue resident reported at
1:27 p.m. Aug. 7 that someone had driven around an adjacent wet
field, making substantial ruts.
Thefts
• A Howard Street resident reported at
7:30 a.m. Aug. 4 the theft of a cell phone from her yard the night before. The phone is valued at $100. Police have several
leads.
• A Main Street resident reported at 5:59
a.m. Aug. 4 that someone had taken her purse from her unlocked
vehicle. The purse was returned to the Police Department on Aug. 6.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
• An Osgood Avenue business at 4:23 p.m.
Aug. 3 reported the theft of services valued at $40. Police have a
suspect.
• A Fourth Street resident reported at
1:02 p.m. July 30 that someone had taken a UPS package valued at
$300 from her porch.
• A Spruce Street resident reported at
12:19 a.m. July 30 that someone had taken her cell phone valued at
$150 from a Main Street residence. Police have suspects.
