RANGELEY — Wilhelm Reich Museum directors Mary Higgins and Kevin Hinchey. at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, will discuss their ongoing work on two new projects based on materials from Wilhelm Reich’s Archives, located at the Countway Library of Medicine at Harvard University.
Higgins will discuss the creation of a new book drawn from Reich’s diaries and correspondence from 1948 to 1957, a period of strife and turmoil during which Reich was attacked by the Food and Drug Administration, and his books were banned and burned. Hinchey will talk on his work on a full-length documentary film script about Reich’s life and work.
The program is free and will take place at the Conference Center at Orgonon, Dodge Pond Road. Questions and input will be welcome from the public. For more information, call 864-3443.
