Sadie L. White, daughter of Stephen and Marcia White of Wyman Township, received a bachelor’s degree from Bates College on May 31.
A 2005 graduate of Mt. Abram High School, Salem, White majored in sociology at Bates and attained dean’s list status for the winter semester 2009 with a 3.39 grade point average.
Her graduate activities included America Reads and America Counts in the Lewiston Auburn elementary schools, Bollywood Dance and Bates Stars. She was the recipient of the Mehrman-Swett Award for the most outstanding sociology thesis in 2009.
