Greetings,

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 17th Annual Great Falls Balloon Festival, “World of Water”.

This festival is a FREE community event and we encourage you to join us all weekend on the Riverfront of Lewiston and Auburn.

The Great Falls Balloon Festival take place on August 21, 22 & 23 at Simard-Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston, Maine, and Festival Plaza in Auburn, Maine.

Be sure to join us all weekend and view 30 hot air balloons and two special shapes Wally and Sushi,
launching each day at 6am and 6pm weather permitting. On Friday and Saturday nights we will again have the moon glow at Simard Payne Memorial Park.

We have something for all ages, carnival rides, a kids area, entertainment on 2 stages, 30 food booth staffed by local non-profit groups, a parade on Saturday morning, crafters and artists, field demonstrations, business trade exhibits, games and official festival souvenirs.

On behalf of the board of directors and myself, we would like to thank our sponsors, the cities of Auburn and Lewiston, the hundreds of volunteers and all local landowners who provide areas for safe landings of the balloons. Also to the local and surrounding communities for your continued support of this one of a kind event.
